Dan Manternach began his career with Professional Farmers of America in Cedar Falls, IA, rising to President of the firm before leaving after 22 years to join Sparks Companies of Memphis (now Informa Economics) as VP for Custom Content and later, marketing of multi-client studies for Sparks. He joined Doane Advisory Services in 2003 as VP and Editor of both Doane’s Agricultural Report and Ag Lender Magazine. He was named Doane’s Operations Director in January of 2014 by Vance Publishing Corp. of Lincolnshire, ILL, which purchased Doane in 2005.
Dan has addressed hundreds of audiences in the U.S. and abroad on a wide variety of custom-developed presentations for 3rd party clients and was honored in 1997 as National Communicator of the Year by the National Agricultural Marketers Association (NAMA).
Dan has extensive experience offering risk management counsel on the whole array of major field crops, hogs and cattle and leads grain marketing seminars across the Midwest.
