108 bu/a 500 acres across Scale Corn on Corn much worse than 2012 Landowner said it was dryer this year than in 1988. Worst corn I have harvested since 1988.

ILLINOIS:

Western IL, Nauvoo area…good dirt, good Jul rains, great finish.  April 9 planted corn. He had done 1 field, 178 acres, and corn went 281 dry.  Believe his APH is 240-245 on that ground.  Still not as high as 2018 though.

Farmer around Morton, IL had done about 300 acres of corn, coming out of the field at 24%.  About 10 bpa less than APH.  No Aug rains in this area, less than 0.5”.  April planted, 208-day corn.

Northern Ford county, IL.  Soybeans yielded 39 bpa.  12 bpa below LY and about 15% below APH.  One of his tougher farms.

SW MN Soybean yield - 62 BPA on 83 acres; early BNS; 5-year avg 54.5, until August dryness hoping 70, but pleased. Some worry later beans may be impacted more by dry.

Group .9 bean in Watonwan County, MN with hail damage went 65 bushel per acre

Truman MN… bean yields coming in 60-65 bpa around Truman, had one report of 70 bpa.

Beans- field cut Saturday went 69 bpa at 11.3 %.         Field normally does low 50’s for beans.        

Beans-Early harvest going mid’60’s for a farmer, and that is more than expected.         

Those mostly were 2.2 maturity planted early

Corn- taking out corn on Saturday, harvesting 94 day corn with some green snap.    Going 15 % moisture and 200 bpa.         

106 day corn in the same field going 18 % and 252 bpa.     

KENTUCKY:

LaRue County, Kentucky - 40 acres made 215, best every by 30 bu, not good ground

TENNESSEE:

Robertson County, TN  about 1/3 done 216 acres average 218 bu, best ever on this dirt, some better dirt to be harvested--hills and bottoms very consistent this year, dry early, perfect finish weather wise

MISSISSIPPI:

Mississippi,  Noxubee Co- done with 1500 acres, not sure on exact but 215-220, as expected if not a touch better

MISSOURI:

200 acres in Bates County, 20% moisture making 170 bpa.  APH is 150.  Very pleased.
